Big ups for the team this week with a 11-12 win! For those who couldn't make it, the Wankers took down last years undefeated and 11:30 Champions... Mary Poppins. A well fought battle by both teams, the Wankers never led in the ball game until the bottom of the ninth inning which was two extra innings into the game. Down by three runs in the bottom of the ninth the Wankers put together four consecutive hits to tie the teams up at eleven a piece. When Dan Bogart hit a deep fly ball to center field allowing Alex Gemignani to tag up and and score the winning run from third.

Speaking of tagging up... that was the lesson of the week. Remember when there are less than two outs, and a fly ball is hit, stay at your bag. When the ball is caught run hard to the next base.

The Jerseys have been ordered, so that's the team. We can't have anymore additions. That will leave us with 24 members which is a very big team, if everyone is there.
