Sincere condolences to Julie Andrews and the children on the death of their beloved husband and father.
Gregory Jbara, who was directed by Edwards in Victor/Victoria on Broadway (1995-1997), said of his passing, "It's a sad day today. Were it not for him I'd have never met MY Julie."

The 24th Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction took place Sunday, September 26, 2010, in Shubert Alley.
Greg was at the Autograph & Photo Booth between Noon and 12:50 PM.
He also auctioned off the Billy Elliot package at the main auction in Shubert Alley immediately after the matinee.

Due to exciting events at Greg's high school alma mater in Michigan during June 2010, he was out of performances Fri. June 4 through Sun. June 6, returning on Wed. June 9, 2010.
Go, Zebras! Jbara Honored by High School Alma Mater
Greg was chosen in 2010 as a Distinguished Alumnus of Wayne Memorial High School in Michigan. He gave a short acceptance speech at a June 4th reception at the high school, and on June 5, Greg spoke at WMHS' graduation, held at the Convocation Center on EMU's campus.

On Feb. 18, 2010, Greg recorded "Bottom's Dream" from A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare for Glen Roven's poetry compilation CD, Poetic License: 100 Poems, 100 Performers.

2010 Contract/schedule Billy Elliot news:
Following a 3-month contracted leave of absence early in 2010, Greg resumed performances Tue. May 4, 2010. Early September, 2010, Jbara announced that he had renewed his contract with the Broadway show through June 2011. His contracted dates off from the show, mostly to be home with his family in Los Angeles, were posted at the web site here.
Jbara Appears at 2010 CANY Fundraiser
"Broadway at the Boathouse....Encore!" was hosted by Dick Latessa and Cady Huffman at Loeb Central Park Boathouse. The event raised funds for CANY.
